In Mrs. Mullikin's classroom, the rules are simple: respect yourself and others, and no excuses.
Students will have vocabulary homework most weeks. If students use class time wisely, they shouldn't have other homework.
Students with an excused absence are responsible for completing assignments given during their absence. An adult must inform Mrs. Mullikin of excused absences--missing class is assumed to be unexcused. Illness, court, and medical appointments are excused as are worker visits. Meetings with PCs and Family Workers should be held outside school hours.
Students with unexcused absences will receive zeros for work assigned that day.
